How to install new firmware on lg p698 ?

1.Charge your device to the maximum.
2.Remove the SD Card.
3.Download this file down here and extract anywhere on your PC.
---This will take you to 4shared.com, so when you go to this website, right-click on download and press open in new tab it will get downloaded.

KDZ FW UPD EN.7z

4.Go to this website here and check your country and under 'version model' check LG P698 and download the FIRMWARE.

7.They will take you to some tiny website, wait and they will give you one adf.ly link, go to that adf.ly link and wait for 5 seconds. Then Press 'SKIP AD' and download it.
8.After this Run the KDZ_FW_UPD.exe from the extracted folder.
9. Choose Type: 3GQCT and Phone Mod: DIAG.
10. Now Browse the firmware you downloaded.
11.Click ''LAUNCH SOFTWARE UPDATE''.
12.Wait till the procedure was successful and the phone will reboot. It will take around 10-15 MINS.
[NOTE: To put your phone on downloading mode, switch off your phone and press POWER+HOME KEY+VOLUME UP]

Please help me. Give me a more detailed explanation. LG P698 I owned one brick for installing the ROM. I've followed your way of flashing with KDZ, but always get an error message while KDZ give the FINISHED notif but nothing happen with my phone and the phone does not restart and always be in fastboot. Also how to download mode, which I try to power + vol up + home was to go to the emergency mode.

It's Not important to go on downloading mode...
Keep your phone switched off and launch software update...
Don't forget to choose your phone mode and type...
And when you go to that website... choose your country's firmware and model number too..
Try it and reply soon..

Hi, i have a phone model number LG P698. When my phone is switched on my mobile phone starting functioning/operating automatically without touching my phone. I downloaded as advised you and tried to launch software update. it shows "connecting the phone" after that "PHONE WAS NOT FOUND" please advice how can proceed
